Who we are: Harper Macleod.

We are currently seeking a Facilities Coordinator to join our Operations team. You will provide facilities-related assistance across all departments and offices. While the role is based within the Glasgow office, you may be required to complete out of hours work and attendance at our other offices across Scotland.

You will be working towards a Digital Applications Support SCQF Level 6.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Manage all requests on the facilities service desk management system. The system will be new to the business, therefore this is the perfect time for you to come in and become an expert user
  • Assist with compiling data via MS Excel for sustainability recording across all HM offices
  • Monitor risk assessment data and complete tasks on the backhand of this – you will provide reports on the backhand of this and store them on a centralised system. You will also log DSE assessments as well as other H&S checks
  • Work closely with the Facilities Manager to achieve Net Zero by 2045
  • Undertake training related to H&S and FM
  • Complete weekly office checks for H&S and security

What You Need to Succeed:

  • IT skills including MS Office, Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail

Salary: £19,838 per annum.

Working week: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm.

Future prospects:
Should you perform well in this role, there is an opportunity for you to take up a permanent position at the end of your qualification. Many of our previous apprentices are still with the company.

Your future salary will be discussed should you be offered a permanent role.
