Working within the luxurious surroundings of our beautifully restored Taymouth Castle Estate and at the breathtaking Glenlyon Estate as well as the Moness Resort and Kenmore Village. The Facilities Maintenance Assistant assists our technicians, and your expertise will be needed to conduct planned preventative maintenance tasks, fault rectification, fault investigations and emergency call outs. This scope may expand in the future as the project evolves. This role will oversee all areas of the business and will work closely with and be directed by the maintenance manager. Your expertise and knowledge will contribute to the safety, comfort, and overall experience of our guests and staff throughout the club. This specialist role covers all areas and includes guest homes as required, staff housing, and various buildings throughout the estate. Discover the role.. Joining our team as Maintenance Assistant you ensure the safe and efficient operation of our local utilities, contributing to a comfortable and secure environment for guests and colleagues. Your expertise and dedication will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of our luxury club. You support with the completion of all planned preventative maintenance, repairs, and fault investigations on time and to meet the expected high standards associated with the club and as directed by facilities and operations management including other departmental managers with logistical issues; where necessary and as directed, at various locations throughout the estate. Maintaining work vehicles, conducting pre-use checks, and ensuring they are well maintained and kept clean and tidy. Other duties and special projects as and when assigned. Working closely with our housekeeping team across the club with light maintenance which may include painting, lamp replacement for pre and post occupancy inspections. You take pride in ensuring all assets, equipment, infrastructure are well maintained to ensure the life of the building is prolonged. Some of the tasks associated and as part of the club wide preventative maintenance can include seasonal roof and drainage maintenance, portable appliance testing and legionella prevention tasks. Assisting the Maintenance technician with fault investigations and rectifications and responding swiftly to any emergency call outs wherever they may be located within the estate. You ensure all work is completed and compliant with the high standards associated with our club and facilities. Maintaining and ensuring when assisting third party contractors that this is upheld. Managing the appropriate use of hand tools - full training for the use of specialist tool or machinery will be provided.
Hands-on experience with a knowledge of safe work practices, procedures, tools, equipment, and techniques used in the trades. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously in-order to meet deadlines. Working effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule to produce accurate results. Navigating mobile applications for reporting and recording tasks. Good written, verbal, and interpersonal and computer skills with the ability to interact with all levels of staff including management. Working irregular/extended hours; including nights, weekends when required. UK driving license is essential. This role requires frequent bending, kneeling and the lifting and carrying of equipment and machinery weighing 23kg and greater throughout the facility to complete repairs maintenance, and can be on all floors in varying heights and distances and at various locations within the club both indoors and outdoors.
