Full Job Description

We have a current opportunity for a Factoring Co-ordinator on a permanent basis. The position will be based just outside Glasgow.

As a Co-ordinator you will be responsible for running the factoring service and managing the small friendly team which consists of 3 established staff.

The main duties of the factoring co-ordinator are:

  • Ensure the delivery of a professional factoring service to customers within agreed budgets and timescales.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and performance results through management of the frontline staff and identify areas for continuous improvement
  • Deal with and resolve complaints
  • Maximise income and effective management of the recovery of arrears for factored owner accounts
  • Ensure accurate and timely invoicing/payment processing is carried out
  • Promote and set up a range of payment methods
  • Manage and support the Factoring Team.
  • Carry out all Management duties including day to day management and personal development for the factoring team

Experience/Qualifications for the role:

  • CIH level 4 and diploma in property factoring are desired however not essential
  • Experience working within housing or related sector
  • Knowledge & understanding of the Property Factors Code of Conduct
  • Excellent communication & customer service skills
