Full Job Description
- Run the relevant lines within your department to manufacture blown film to specific quality standards and specifications
- To carry out duties effectively as required by the production plans and Quality Control check sheets
- Minimise production downtime and scrap
- Keeping the department clean and tidy to our high standards
- Follow H&S and environmental procedures, and seek to minimise waste
- Prepare for the next shift in order to conduct smooth shift changeovers
We are looking for the successful candidate to be driven, enthusiastic, hardworking and able to work on their own initiative to run a press, with minimum supervision.
Good timekeeping, tidy, hardworking, health & safety conscious and great communication skills are essential, in addition to the ability to work as part of a team.
You will ideally have experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Previous experience with working shift patterns (including night shift) would be advantageous.

The bpi division has manufacturing sites across the UK, Germany, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Poland and Romania.
Our Ardeer site is currently recruiting for operators to work in our Extrusion and Conversion departments.
All roles work 12 hours shifts dayshift / nightshift on a 24/7 rotating shift pattern, working 84 hours per fortnight and every other weekend.
