Family Solicitor

  • Location: Glasgow
  • Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid
  • Experience: 3+ years PQE
  • Working Pattern: 3 days from home, 2 days in the office

My well-regarded and established client is seeking a Family Solicitor with over 3 years of PQE to join their close-knit team in Glasgow. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing their own caseload and have experience working in courts. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement after an initial onboarding period, allowing for a balance between in-office collaboration and the flexibility of working from home.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Independently manage a caseload of family law matters, including but not limited to divorce, financial settlements, and child arrangement orders.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings and provide robust legal advocacy.
  • Offer sensitive and pragmatic legal advice to individuals on a variety of family law issues.
  • Maintain high standards of client care, supporting individuals through complex and sensitive cases.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across different departments to provide a comprehensive service to clients.
  • Contribute to the supportive culture of the firm by sharing knowledge and expertise with the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years PQE in family law.
  • Strong litigation experience and confidence in representing clients in court.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage a significant caseload with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a compassionate approach to handling sensitive cases.
  • A team player who values collaboration and contributing to a supportive work environment.
