Stirling Inclusion Support Service is a specialist service that works closely with schools, partners and families to improve outcomes for children and young people who present with social, emotional and behavioural needs. The Service consists of a multi-disciplinary team that provides outreach support to schools and has three bases that offers a more intensive level of support for a small number of children and young people who require this. The Service promotes the importance of positive relationships and a trauma informed and rights based approach, providing a nurturing and inspiring learning environment where children and young people can develop confidence, make informed decisions and achieve their full potential. We are looking to appoint a Family Support Worker who is passionate about inclusion and equity to work with our children/young people and their families to promote engagement, attendance and sustained positive destinations post school. The successful applicant will support and inspire our families to achieve the best possible outcomes by forming positive relationships, delivery of programmes and signposting to other services.

The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for both. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.
