Full Job Description

  • Kicking off each season with a 'lessons learnt' and market analysis of previous season.

  • Planning comprehensive seasonal range plans and determining pricing strategy in line with sales data, seasonal budget and monthly targets whilst considering gaps and missed opportunities.

  • Manage pricing architecture to ensure commercially balanced ranges, whilst maximising return on investment and ensuring product meets target margin.

  • Manage sales meetings broken down into clear analysis for the team, propose action points based on reads, i.e. marketing pushes, OTB and reorders.

  • Back bestselling product, pushing trials on newness to maximise future sales, be aware of tired styles and plan to phase out accordingly.

  • Manage buying and restocks for boutique stock

  • Define and manage the Critical Path working with the wider team, maintaining awareness of lead times and workable freight routes to ensure launch dates are achieved.

  • Conduct weekly CP meetings with the team to track progress, update trackers and define any action points.

  • Lead buying meetings to review product and sign off with management.

  • Negotiate cost and ex-factory dates with suppliers. Prepare and raise all POs, communicating required handover dates in line with critical path.

  • Check invoices are aligned with POs and agreed payment terms, forwarding to finance for timely payment.

  • Manage handovers, freight and import with factories to ensure deliveries are received on time and packing lists correspond with POs.

  • Manage the supplier on boarding process with the support of HOD, ensuring that all relevant documents are signed and returned for filing.

  • Manage factory audits with support from technical team.

  • Attend weekly fit sessions.

  • Work with factories alongside Product Development to bring product into cost, sourcing/developing alternative components where required.

  • Work closely with the Marketing team to communicate volume, slow sellers, defining and actioning appropriate sales and offers.

  • Attend comp shops, research and buying trips alongside design and product development.

  • Own and manage the completion of product listings

  • Own and define the Own Brand product life cycle with support from the HOD.

  • Additional duties as required

    3-5 years industry experience

  • Strong product understanding and awareness of fashion retail landscape

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Strategic and pro-active approach

  • Strong commercial acumen

  • Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Shopify
