- Leading by Example: Uphold and embody the Field Engineering and BT values, coaching and supporting new team members, and setting a positive example throughout your career.
- Ownership and Support: Take responsibility for designated patches and sites, contributing to area, regional, and unit objectives, and working efficiently with the support of senior colleagues.
- Prioritising Work: Execute prioritised tasks in alignment with team and unit priorities, coordinating with patch managers and senior colleagues to ensure effective workflow.
- Health and Safety: Conduct thorough risk assessments for health and safety, ensuring all work is carried out with full regard for safety protocols.
- Proactive Development: Understand expectations, proactively seek opportunities to enhance your skills, and support the team's work by continuously improving processes.
- Compliance and Presentation: Monitor and meet all compliance requirements, including health surveillance if needed, and maintain a professional appearance by wearing provided corporate clothing.
Physical Requirements: You must be able to fulfil the physical demands of the role, including bending, stretching, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and working at various heights and levels. This includes lifting heavy drums/cables and recognising coloured wiring. - Full UK Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
- Self-Starter: You should be proactive, using your initiative to drive actions for yourself and the wider team.
- Ownership: Demonstrate the ability to take responsibility for tasks, activities, and resources, working collaboratively with the team to understand and meet unit priorities.
- Communication Skills: Communicate clearly and precisely through various methods in any situation or location.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Effectively address and resolve a variety of issues, implementing solutions as needed.
