Their products are used to help make smart phones, displays, automotive electronics, high end print and more. To support these developments, we have an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join their team and shape with us the future of thei industry.

You will be based in the Glasgow facility and will travel to prebooked customer visits in the UK and Europe.

This position would suit a focused and motivated individual who has a passion to travel, and is seeking an opportunity to join an evolving organisation and develop a career in Engineering.

The Role:

· This is a Customer facing role attending sites in the UK and Europe

· Conduct field service visits to install, service, and repair equipment

· Ensure that service calls are resolved promptly and in full

· Provide on site equipment training to colleagues and customers

· Provide part quotes

· Responding to customer inbound technical queries by phone, email, etc

· Accompany the Head of Customer Experience and Regional Sales Manager to customer visits

Travel:

· All travel, accommodation, food will be paid by the company

Subject to the company travel policy

· All visits will be scheduled and be prebooked

Desirable Skills:

· Minimum 1 years' experience as a Field Service Engineer

· HNC in Mechanical and / or Electrical Engineering

· Keen to learn about new technologies

· Good attention to detail, decision making and problem-solving skills

· Enjoys fault finding and suggesting and implementing improvements

· Not afraid to challenge the status quo

· Ability to communicate with personnel at all levels of the business

· Able to use own initiative with the ability to work on their own and as part of a team

· This is a Customer facing role, you will have an open and friendly nature

· Computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Outlook

· When not at customer sites, role is based in Glasgow facility

Must haves

· Full, clean, UK driving licence

· Valid passport
