Full Job Description
Fighting With Pride (FWP) is seeking an exceptional Chief Executive to lead and inspire the organisation as it supports LGBTQ+ veterans, serving personnel, and their families. FWP is a registered charity, established in January 2020, dedicated to helping those affected by the 'gay ban' within the armed forces and ensuring that all LGBTQ+ military community members are supported and celebrated. The Chief Executive will provide strategic leadership, champion the charity's mission, and oversee its operations, including finance, governance, fundraising, and partnerships. They will work closely with the Chair and Board of Trustees to develop and implement FWP's strategy, fostering effective relationships with Government, military charities, and key stakeholders.,
- Acting as the principal ambassador of the charity.
- Leading on the development and delivery of the organisation's strategic plan.
- Ensuring operational efficiency and excellence across all functions.
- Managing financial planning, forecasting, and sustainability.
- Promoting robust governance and compliance.
Proven success in a senior leadership role, ideally within a charity or not-for-profit organisation. - Experience in effective partnership building and external relationship management.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and risk management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
