About The Role
In this role, you will provide essential financial insights and data to the Commercial Finance Manager and the Commercial Finance Team. You will support the On Trade Commercial Finance Manager by preparing, distributing, and analyzing commercial results. You will take ownership of key financial projects, including driving business performance reviews and presenting critical data to senior management.
Additionally, you will collaborate with finance team members, track business targets and KPIs, and communicate performance to both commercial and finance teams. You will also be involved in month-end accounting, forecasts, and budgets for logistics areas, as well as preparing materials and conducting analysis for monthly reviews, identifying variances, and recommending corrective action plans.
This is a 12 month Fixed-Term Contract., + Support the commercial team and finance team in achieving their goals
+ Involved in month-end accounting, reporting and all financial data relating to your area of responsibility
+ Ensure any variances to plans are understood and mitigated
+ Prepare and own specific budget and forecast process, numbers and targets
+ Prepare materials/decks for operational and commercial reviews
+ Conduct ad hoc analysis to identify areas for performance improvement
+ Work as part of a team and perform ad hoc duties and project work as required

You have strong commercial awareness and a solid business understanding, with a knack for challenging the status quo. Driven by curiosity, you consistently seek to add value and work effectively across functions. Your background in financial analysis or accounting, coupled with advanced MS Excel skills and experience with Microsoft PowerBI, makes you a reliable provider of user-friendly and actionable insights.
