All of their staff are highly trained, knowledgeable, empathetic and maintain a stringent and uncompromising standard of care which exceeds both company and industry standards., Thistle Healthcare Ltd are currently looking for a Finance Assistant to join the finance team based at our Head Office in East Kilbride. The main focus of this role will involve distribution and accountability of our residents' personal funds, as such the role will involve visiting the care homes across our estate on a daily basis; Therefore Candidates for this role must have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.

As a key member of the team your duties and responsibilities will include the following:

Visiting Our Care homes to issue personal funds
Monitoring transactions and balances
Formal reconciliations of Client accounts
Recording and posting all transactions in relation to receipts and issues of cash
Reconciling petty cash floats
Posting of all transactions onto clients' personal accounts
Ordering and follow through to delivery of authorised personal purchases requested by Clients
Managing cash provision required for Clients
Manage client Bank and Statement Reconciliations
Filing and maintenance of all documentation
Provide support for the finance team
Intercompany reconciliation
Assist with credit control
Post credit card receipts

Fully experienced in cash handling and reconciliation of cash floats etc.
Experience in reconciliations and analysis
Fully adept at dealing with people at all levels
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Working knowledge of Sage 200 - preferable
Ability to operate within clearly defined deadlines
Able to work as part of a team and autonomously
Attention to detail
Time management skills
