Finance Assistant

Jenson Fisher have been engaged by an expanding organisation based in North Lanarkshire to recruit a Finance Assistant on a full-time permanent basis. This role would suit a good all-rounder who would like to learn payroll and be part of a well established team. The hours of work for this post can be 8am to 4pm, 8.30am to 4.30pm or 9am to 5pm.

The main duties:

- Sales ledger duties
- Processing invoices
- Cash allocation
- Assisting with processing payroll
- Processing new starters and leavers
- Dealing with payroll queries
- Providing support to the finance team

Requirements:

- Previous purchase or sales ledger experience is essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Sage experience would be an advantage
- Highly accurate and detail-oriented
- Team player
- Willingness to learn payroll
