Oliver Smith Recruitment are working in partnership with our key client in Glasgow to recruit a Finance Assistant on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role working closely with the Head of Finance.

Responsibilities

• Process suppliers’ invoices, credit notes, accruals, prepayments and deal with queries
• Aged creditors / supplier’s statements reconciliation
• Maintain account information and suppliers’ records
• Bank reconciliations (multi-currency)
• Create weekly payments list and raising payments
• Maintain accurate stock values and levels
• Analyse purchasing data in line with budgets and company’s Mission and Vision KPIs
• Work closely with Head of Finance to prepare the monthly management accounts, VAT reports, cashflow management and reporting
