Reed Accountancy are working with an excellent organisation located on the outskirts of Edinburgh, seeking a temporary Finance Assistant to join their Finance team until Christmas. This role will see the successful candidate performing various transactional finance duties with a focus on accounts payable activities.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Processing high volume purchase ledger invoicing daily.
• Processing and preparing supplier payments.
• Reconciling bank statements.
• Assisting with accounting procedures and reporting.
• Responding to enquiries related to accounts payable in a timely manner.
• Maintaining strong working relationships through liaising with suppliers and resolving any issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in managing purchase ledger and accounts payable responsibilities.
• Experience using MS Dynamics.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
