Location - Haddington
Salary - 32k +
Contract - 6 months initially


Eden scott are excited to be supporting put client in their search for a finance assistant to join their team on an initially temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the purchase ledger, processing month end journals and assisting with he preparation of monthly management accounts.

To be considered you must have;

  • strong working knowledge of Sage 200.
  • Experienced in bookkeeping & financial accounting, and comfortable with all forms of reconciliations and transaction processing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a high standard of accuracy and IT competence.
  • A proactive individual, who will seek to enhance the department's performance and support various stakeholders throughout the business.


Responsibilities

  • Purchase Ledger.
  • Process Credit Card and Expense transactions.
  • Process month end journals.
  • Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Assist with preparation of quarterly VAT returns (partial exemption)
  • Fixed Assets.
  • Help prepare internal management information and reporting.
  • Attendance at weekly departmental meetings
