Full Job Description

Hutcheon Mearns is delighted to partner with a prominent organisation in their search for a Bookkeeper Part Time based in Edinburgh. This role will work across both AP AR while supporting the management accountant with month end. The salary on offer will be up to 27,000.

The Opportunity
Our client has experienced significant growth and diversification in recent years, expanding into various industries. In this role, you be working alongside the Management Accounting supporting with month-end and management accounts whiles also covering Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables. This role will be 25 hours long and can be flexible on the days and hours. Key duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparing invoices
  • Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual audits
  • Reconciling company accounts, including credit cards and expenses
  • Supporting with month-end duties
  • Payment runs
  • Supplier reconciliations

Background and Experience
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an office environment, particularly within Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Proficiency in Excel and finance systems is essential.
