Full Job Description

Iconic Resourcing are delighted to partnering our client, a hugely successful national organisation again to recruit a Finance Business Partner, who will work across the Operations and Standards & Performance teams, with a clear focus on identifying key financial risks and opportunities, monitoring business performance and delivering key decision support and insights.


Reporting to Head of Planning & Performance, you will work alongside a highly intuitive team, tasked with managing existing but developing key stakeholder relationships (both financial and non financial), delivering key analytics and demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset.


Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver key partnering for core Operations - performance monitoring, decision support and key business challenge
  • Delivery of comprehensive MI reporting packs for each key stakeholder
  • Report on P&Ls for each business area - focus on key drivers, profitability, performance, variances and mitigations
  • Contractual reporting, analysis, revenue generation and variations
  • Delivery of annual budget and full planning for operations areas, with in-depth communication with stakeholders
  • Ensure integrity of financial results for Operational areas
  • In-depth variance analysis, communicating effectively with key budget holders, understanding future risks that may impact full year forecast
  • Stakeholder engagement with key Finance, Operations and Standards Managers, Heads of dept, Directors and also the Exec team

You will incorporate business performance monitoring (both financial and non-financial), business decision making support and key business challenge, whilst providing quality and timely MI, to ensure robust financial performance monitoring, planning and forecasting.


This will suit a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with a relevant background in business partnering, ideally within a commercial or operational domain. Strong people person, with the ability to influence and also challenge key stakeholders. Be able to understand operational and commercial documents. Additionally,you should have a natural ability with analysis and analytical processes.
