Three Bridges Recruitment is currently working with a renowned organisation based in the Stirling area to recruit for a Finance Business Partner. This organisation is going through a process of modernisation and are looking to utilise technology to give real time financial information to line managers. This is an excellent opportunity for an Accountant looking to further their career by developing their Finance Business Partnering skills.

Job

The role of Finance Business Partner will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

  • Acting as a finance lead for a defined portfolio across the organisation
  • Preparation and distribution of monthly management accounts
  • Transaction review for quality, accuracy, and integrity within the finance system
  • Management of salary budgets and projections
  • Financial business partnering services to budget holders
  • Annual budget setting and the preparation of costing models for new contracts
  • Training and support to budget holders and their teams
  • Proactive identification and improvement of inefficiencies in systems and processes

You

As a Finance Business Partner, you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:

  • Qualifications are not essential for this role
  • Demonstrable experience in accounting and management accounting is essential
  • Communication of complex financial concepts to varied audiences
  • Familiarity with the preparation and management of budgets and financial forecasts
  • Proficient use of IT systems in financial management
  • Proactive analysis of information leading to sound judgements and recommendations
  • Ability to work independently and within a team, with effective decision-making skills
