Full Job Description

We have a current requirement for a Finance Business Partner to join our busy finance team based in Glasgow on a hybrid working basis. As a member of the business stream Senior Management team, you will work closely with peers to support their business areas by analysing and making recommendations on the wider commercial and operational aspects of the business.,

  • Contribute fully to the development of the business stream strategy across all areas, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate.
  • Provide financial analysis and guidance on all activities of the business stream, plans, targets and business drivers.
  • Provide leadership and partnering across the business stream focusing on providing the support necessary to develop individuals and support strategies, meet or exceed financial performance objectives and increase organisational effectiveness and efficiencies.
  • Provide order book & pipeline reporting.
  • Responsible for financial evaluation of all new clients set up.
  • Improve existing financial management processes and seek continuous improvement.
  • Ensure a robust financial control environment exists at all times across all aspects of the business stream.
  • Responsible for the annual budget process and ongoing rolling forecasts.
  • Ensure that the business stream P&L are an accurate representation of the financial state of the business.
  • Lead on the financial reporting and analysis of performance and interpret relevant outputs and trends to assist in key decision making.
  • Supporting the month end management accounts process and its components.
  • Supporting the Finance Director during the annual audit processes as required.

    To be considered for this position you will be a qualified ACA, ACCA OR CIMA accountant and have at least 1-2 post qualifying experience working within a similar level role, The ideal candidate will be a Strategic thinker with an excellent knowledge of Microsoft excel preferably Power BI.
