Finance Coordinator

Eden Scott is pleased to be supporting our longstanding client during a period of growth to recruit for a Finance Coordinator to join their team in Turriff.

Overview

To assist the Management Accountant and Senior Finance Coordinator with producing timely monthly management accounts and required analysis.

Provide financial support to Project Engineers including the tracking of costs by projects, timely raising of sales invoices, financial analysis and reporting of projects.

Depending on the level of experience, to contribute to the optimization of profit margins with feedback into future tenders for projects, and the minimization of any financial risks.

Roles and Responsibilities

• To liaise with operations and project managers to have a good understanding of projects including the financial milestones, invoice trigger points, and other financial considerations.
• To liaise with operations and ensure timely raising of sales invoices for certain divisions / projects.
• To track Variation Orders from customers, ensuring good communications with operations for status updates.
• To assist Management Accountant & Finance Coordinator with management accounts process.
• Monthly Accounts analysis.
• Creating project financial reports, appropriate analysis and discussion with project managers and ensuring project management have financial understanding prior to project review meetings.
• Managing job numbers, ensuring jobs are raised and closed in a timely manner.
• Assist with annual financial audit and other annual reporting requirements.
• Support initiatives to improve accuracy of capture and reporting of information.
