Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to work as part of a successful Business Support team. You will support the provision of an effective and customer-focused HR and Finance service within Volunteer Scotland. This role holder will be a key member of the Business Support function assuming additional responsibilities for business support services and assisting in facilities co-ordination matters. You will have gained previous experience in finance and/or HR roles, ideally within the charitable or non-profit sector and be proficient in accounting software, payroll systems, and HR management tools. About Volunteer Scotland Volunteer Scotland is the leadership organisation in Scotland to support volunteering, and a key player in delivering the ambitions set out in Scotland s Volunteering Action Plan. We also provide disclosure checks to the voluntary sector in Scotland. We are recognised for our knowledge, expertise and authority on how to support excellent volunteer practice and experiences for everyone. We have recently developed and launched a fresh vision and strategy to guide us over the next few years the strategy is ambitious, sets out our distinct contribution to the sector, and seeks to offer fresh, innovative and appealing services for members and non-members alike.
