Are you looking for a role that will enable you to stretch your financial, collaborative and communication skills to improve the delivery and sustainability of health care services within NHS Lothian? As a qualified accountant looking for that next challenge, you will work closely with dynamic and enthusiastic professionals who are committed to making a difference. You will lead and develop a team of finance staff as the Finance Manager for Acute Services. The role will enable you to expand your management, and service support skills, while providing clear strategic financial leadership, delivering robust operational and financial management. You will be a key financial advisor who will work closely with Site and Hospital Directors, Senior Doctors and Nurses to come up with innovative solutions to the challenges facing the health system.  You will use your analytical and problem-solving skills to understand the story behind the data but get involved in so much more than just the numbers, You will also require an eye for detail and can scrutinise performance and benchmark across services.

Additional Information:

37 hours per week

Opportunity for flexible working hours

Starting from 27 days annual leave + 8 days public holiday per annum (35 days leave in total)
