Finance Manager

Contract- Temp to perm
Location- Paisley, Hybrid
Salary- 46,728 - 50,556

Eden Scott are happy to be assisting our client to find a finance manager who will join the team on a temporary to permanent basis. Starting immediately, the successful candidate will have 2 direct reports and will report into the financial director.

The role

• Ensure that the organisations finances are managed and that financial regulatory requirements are met
• Effective delivery of our financial services
• Development of and adherence to financial policies and procedures
• Performance monitoring and achievement of performance standards
• Effective leadership, management and training of the finance team
• Make sure the organisation is compliant with statutory accounting requirements.

Experience required

• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in a Finance environment including production of management accounts, budgets and forecasts
• Strong leadership, organisational, planning, and management skills
• Confident with accounting software as well as Microsoft and excel
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Experience of analysing, communication and presenting complex financial information to a non-financial audience
• Proven ability to develop, monitor, review and implement policies and procedures
• Have previously worked in an organisation that has Statutory Audit
• An understanding of VAT requirements and previous experience in completing VAT Returns
