Full Job Description

Are you an experienced Finance Manager and looking for your next challenge? Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be working in partnership with a successful manufacturing organisation to recruit an experienced Manager that will lead an experienced team and play an active part in key projects and continuous finance process improvement. 


You will be an experienced people leader, with responsibility of managing a qualified team on Divisional accounting, reporting and analysis for multiple entities across various jurisdictions. There will also be some indirect team responsibility in the US and Asia. 


The role requires excellent communication skills, will work with key stakeholders and business unit leaders, therefore the development of key relationships is pivotal in the success of the role. Additionally, the role has a split of managing the accounting/reporting process 50% and projects (business process improvement, automation and efficiency improvements) 50%.


Business as usual responsibilities:

  • Manage the accounting operations team for the delivery of monthly, quarterly and final year reporting
  • Ensure monthly USGAAP reporting
  • Manage, mentor and develop the team, highlighting progressive and development opportunities for the team
  • Business partnering with various business functions across the business (finance and non-finance)
  • Encourage a culture of motivation to work and deliver in a fast paced environment
  • Project SME for various initiatives across the finance division
  • Foster a positive culture for business process improvement across your team

The role reports to a Senior Manager/Controller for the Division with entities across UK, EMEA, US & AsiaPac and will have good support from an experienced peer group.


Ideally, you will be qualified (ACCA, CIMA or CA), however qualified by experience candidates maybe considered, provided they can demonstrate strong/direct people management experience, ideally within a large company.

This is a 12 month contract assignment, which may have an opportunity to become permanent.
