This charity is a well-known name across Scotland and have partnerships with some exceptional individuals and organisations. They are currently looking for a Finance Manager on a Part-Time basis. This position will play a pivotal role in the future of the organisation and help to shape planned growth projects.

Job

The role of Finance Manager will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:


  • Preparing budgets
  • Producing management accounts and ad hoc reports
  • Liaising and supporting annual audit
  • Supporting budget holders with financial information and finance management
  • Supporting fundraisers with financial information pursuant to applications and reporting on grants received (project budgets and expenditure)
  • Managing payroll processes
  • Leading organisational planning and reporting
  • Leading on information management systems/IT
  • Providing a finance report to board meetings, supported by CEO
  • Supervising one direct report: Finance Administrator

You

As a Finance Manager, you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:


  • Proven experience in finance management
  • Previous experience within the not-for-profit sector preferred
  • Accountancy qualification or studying towards qualification will be beneficial
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to produce detailed financial reports and forecasts
  • Experience in managing payroll
