Location: Edinburgh
Working Hours: 35 hours per week (with flexible working arrangements being considered)
Remuneration: £30,152 - £31,246 per annum plus Pension & Benefits

About the Role
Hanover Scotland are excited to be recruiting for a Finance Officer to join our Strategic Finance team based in our Edinburgh office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join at a time of growth and development within the organisation.
As Finance Officer you will:
- Deliver an efficient and effective transactional finance service.
- Achieve this service delivery by maintaining purchase and sales ledgers, and ensuring all transactions are accurately processed, reconciled, and reported.
- Work in collaboration with Finance Officers & other Hanover teams to support an efficient service for our employees, customers, suppliers, and other key partners.
- Assist in the development of process and system improvements.
- Contribute to the Finance team by seeking opportunities to enhance the efficiency and capabilities of the transactional finance service.
About You
- Holder of National Qualifications relevant to the role to be undertaken.
- Strong finance administration skills.
- Good digital literacy and confident to utilise financial software packages.
- Knowledge and understanding of the role of a Finance team.
- Strong organisational, planning, and communication skills.
- Able to demonstrate a customer-driven mindset.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend interview w/c 13th January 2025 with interviews being held in-person in our Edinburgh office.
The interview shall be designed to showcase your skills, expertise and experience.
Interviews are likely to be held with senior members of the Strategic Finance team.
