This is a part-time post the salary will be pro-rata'd to the hours worked.
West Dunbartonshire council is seeking an enthusiastic Finance Officer to join the Corporate Finance team to support the financial management of a range of council services. The role will involve budget development and monitoring and supporting services.
This is a critical permanent post within the structure.
As a key member of the corporate finance team, the Fiance Officer will be expected to:
- Support the Finance Business Partners to develop budgets;
- Support in the preparation of accurate budgetary control reports.
- Support the successful delivery of the Council's statutory financial accounts and other key statutory returns.
Requirements
The preferred candidate will be required to complete a Standard Disclosure check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
Responsibilities
The employment for which you are applying is excepted from the provisions of section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order 1975.
