Financial Accountant

Job

The role of Financial Accountant will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

• Controlling UK balance sheet reconciliations
• Monthly reconciliation of sub-ledger control account balances
• Preparation and posting of month-end journals
• Ensuring balance sheet accounts are reconciled and substantiated
• Routine cleansing of balance sheet accounts
• Preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with FRS102
• Running FX routines for UK entities
• Collaborating on the annual audit and statutory reporting process
• Involvement in process improvement projects
• Revamping of working papers, financial controls, and processes

You

As a Financial Accountant you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:

• Accountancy qualification advantageous but not essential
• Exceptional analytical and MS Excel skills
• Sound practical knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102
• Strong understanding of financial controls and policy implementation
• Good planning and organisational skills, with independent operation capabilities
