Financial Accountant

We are growing our UK Controllership team and have an opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant To join us during this exciting period of growth. Successful candidates are required to hold or be willing to be vetted for SC Clearance. Essential Job Functions:

• Supervise the development and implementation of financial policies and internal controls.
• Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Provide coaching and support to junior members of the team.
• Assist in the annual budgeting process and financial planning.
• Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate financial audits.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with accounting regulations and internal controls.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
• Foster collaboration and teamwork within the controllership team.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Extensive years of relevant work experience in industry, in a similar role
• Proven experience in financial management, accounting, and control functions
• Proficiencies in financial reporting, audit compliance, and risk management
• Continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
Other Qualifications:
• Advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) is a plus
