Full Job Description
Eden Scott's Client is seeking experienced Financial Advisor Administrator professional with a background in Financial Advisory or Wealth Management Our client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join their small team of Financial Advisers based in the vibrant West End of Edinburgh.
About the Role:
As part of our clients close-knit team, you will provide crucial administrative support to our Financial Advisers. Your role will involve generating valuations, processing income and investments, managing diaries, arranging client meetings, and handling various general administrative tasks. Your ability to work both independently and as part of a team will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist a team of Financial Advisers with administrative tasks.
- Manage diaries, schedule meetings, and set up client appointments.
- Generate valuations, process income, investments, and transfers.
- Maintain and update client records using various systems, including Intelligent Office (IO).
- Prepare client reports and information packs.
- Provide general administrative support, including filing, printing, and responding to client queries.
Experience and Knowledge:
- 3-5 years of administration experience within an IFA or wealth management environment.
- A solid understanding of the financial and/or wealth management industry.
- Proven experience working in a busy team environment, with the ability to work independently when required.
- Track record of meeting tight deadlines and processing information quickly and accurately.
- Experience with Intelligent Office (IO) is preferred but not essential
Skills:
- Strong numeracy skills with the ability to process figures accurately.
- Excellent English spelling and grammar.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Exceptional organisational skills.
- Proficiency in IT, particularly Windows 10, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and IO.
- Friendly, flexible, reliable, and honest.
