Financial Controller

Anderson Knight are delighted to be exclusively representing our client, based just a few minutes from Glasgow City Centre in their appointment of a new Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the finance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure optimal performance and development.
• Forecast an control revenue, profitability and cash flow.
• Maintain strict internal controls and ensure reports are submitted in a timely manor in accordance with GAAP.
• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's goals and objectives.
• Manage the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with the wider group to provide strategic financial insights.
• Drive innovation within the finance function to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Fully qualified.
• Hands on approach able to re-prioritise and work to multiple deadline.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
