Financial Controller - Global

FinTech RS are delighted to have been appointed a recruitment partner of choice for a well-known oil & gas service business headquartered in the Aberdeen area.

Our client has recently gone through a re-organisation and is looking to bolster their finance team by bringing in a qualified accountant who can act as a Financial Controller at HQ level dealing with regional Finance Managers/Directors.

The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to work alongside a vastly experienced Group Finance Controller/Finance Director and will play a key part in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual finance reports using information given by the regions. You will also support the budgeting and forecasting process whilst monitoring financial performance and identifying trends and variances.

The Financial Controller will also assist with conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures is upheld along with preparing financial statements. Play an active role in the development of financial controls and manage the AP and AR functions.

This role will play a pivotal part in our client's growing finance team and will offer excellent exposure and progression in a relatively short period of time.

The ideal candidate will have between 2-5 years PQE whilst energy experience is beneficial but not essential. A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting is essential.
