Financial Reporting Manager

FinTech Recruitment is supporting one of our global energy businesses as they looking to recruit a qualified accountant for the role of Financial Reporting Manager

In this role you will play a pivotal role in ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial information for the management team. The role is primarily focused and responsible for the UK legal entity and consolidated statutory reporting. This role requires an excellent level of attention to detail and an understanding of the generally accepted accounting policies across all relevant jurisdictions.

Responsibilities:

•   Complex Statutory and Consolidated Accounts: Manage the delivery of complex statutory and consolidated accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

•   Process and Systems Reviews: Undertake reviews to enhance reporting efficiency and streamline processes.

•   Collaboration: Liaise with auditors, professionals, and internal teams to meet deadlines and maintain strong relationships.

•   Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements (UK GAAP, IFRS) and maintain a deep understanding of consolidated accounts and disclosures.

Candidates will ideally hold a recognised professional accounting qualification whilst having a strong background and knowledge of UK GAAP & IFRS.
