If so, this is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with excellent mechanical, diagnostic and administrative skills to support the repair and maintenance of a diverse range of Council owned & hired vehicles.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of work is produced inclusive of servicing, repair and fault diagnosis., You will work 37 hours per week on a fixed shift, Monday to Thursday 8am - 4pm and Friday 8am - 3.30pm creating the perfect work life balance, overtime is available when required.

To succeed in this role you should be a qualified motor mechanic and have excellent diagnostic skills. You should also have the ability to work independently both safely and competently and have a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

We welcome applicants who are keen to be trained on HGV's and our EV fleet.

We are looking for integrity, a can-do attitude, and someone with excellent communication skills who can work in partnership with other council staff as required.
