Flt / Warehouse Op

Search Recruitment are currently working with their client based on the outskirts of Stonehaven, who are looking for dedicated, motivated and reliable Warehouse Operatives to join their team.

Core details:

• Monday - Friday, 40hrs per week
• Shift work: days and backshift weekly rotation (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm)
• Minimum of 13.79p/h - 15.46 inclusive of holiday pay
• Minimum of 3 months work initially, with the opportunity to go permanent
• Please note this is a DUAL role, you will be expected to carry out duties manually alongside using the forklift when required

Your duties as a Warehouse Operative:

• Work in accordance with Health & Safety policies and procedures to correctly prepare packaging for food products
• Assist with the day to day running of the warehouse
• Move, store, palletise and wrap finished goods as required
• Complete any documentation required in relation to the task at hand
• Raise any discrepancies in materials, operating machinery or final product with the appropriate person(s)
• To support in other departments / with other tasks as required

The ideal candidate will poses the following:

• FMCG experience (desirable but not essential as training will be provided)
• Basic numeracy skills
• Able to communicate, work well within a team and follow instruction
• Self sufficient and able to use own initiative
• Demonstrate safe working practices
• MUST have a forklift license, expired will be considered but must be willing to undergo refresher course on site

Due to location, successful candidates MUST hold a drivers license and have access to their own vehicle.
