Food & Beverage Assistant

The University Hospitality Department provides catering to students, staff and external customers throughout the academic year and during the summer months. There are numerous outlets run by the Hospitality Department offering a range of food and drink options., The roles are at our campus, covering lunchtime service during the week, although evening and weekend work is occasionally required through term time and will be required throughout summer. As a Food & Beverage Assistant you will be required to ensure that the day to day running of the catering operation is smooth and that customers are provided with a high standard of service at all times. Your responsibilities will include taking customer orders, serving food and drink, working on the tills, stocking food stations and assisting with cleaning and clearing tables and catering areas. Previous experience of working in the Hospitality industry would be an advantage.
