The Food and Beverage Manager Role:
Our ideal Food and Beverage Manager will be a resilient and motivated leader who thrives under pressure while staying focused on delivering exceptional results. We are looking for someone to inspire and motivate our Retreat team, whilst maintaining a culture of teamwork and excellence.
As part of the location management team, you will report directly to the General Manager. The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for the management of our Forest Retreat, the hub of the location. This is our reception, the first port of call for guests checking in on their holiday, with a shop and cafe. Unlike other hospitality jobs, we provide a better work/life balance than most other hotels or bars can provide. Our opening hours are location dependent, but with our morning shift starting no earlier than 8am and our evening shift finishing by 9pm, we offer a different experience of working in hospitality.
Responsibilities include:
+ Optimising sales whilst delivering exceptional service, meeting financial and guest satisfaction targets.
+ Ensure our Retreat Health and Safety procedures are carried out and properly recorded.
+ Ensuring the Retreat Team are supported and motivated, given regular performance reviews and adequate training to succeed in their role.
+ Proactive management of our guest feedback ensuring comments and scores are regularly shared with your team.
+ Manage departmental budget and work with the rest of the management team to utilise revenue opportunities on location.
+ Duty Manager responsibility, including deputising for the General Manager in their absence when required.

+ A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
+ Extremely organised, able to balance many challenges and tasks at once, provide motivation and guidance to the team while being aware of our guest needs.
+ Prior experience managing teams and budgets is essential, as is previous experience of managing a busy and profitable food and beverage facility.
+ A positive can-do attitude with a willingness to roll your sleeves up and always lend a hand is essential.
With a strong background in food and beverage or retail, ideally in both, your focus and commerciality will ensure that the offering in the Forest Retreat is consistent, on brand and successful. Articulate and approachable, you must be able to strike a rapport with guests and have a helpful, positive personality.
Self-motivated and ready to lead the team, you will be key in delivering business results and will make a valued contribution as you help our dynamic and growing business become the UK's most recommended holiday provider. With experience of managing a team and delivering first class results, you will be keen to ensure that our guests' experience is consistent and extraordinary. Promoting a collaborative culture, you will bring your experience of leading a team and through training produce the highest standards.

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Food and Beverage Manager to join our team working on a full time permanent basis, 40 hours per week, on a rolling rota. In return we will offer you a competitive salary of £28,995 per annum. This role can offer Live-In accommodation if required. This is a place to develop your skills as part of the management team in a thriving company and the chance to work in some of the UK's most stunning forest environments., In addition to paying a competitive salary and a place to develop your skills as part of the management team in a thriving company, we also have a great bundle of benefits that includes:
