Food Service Assistant

Through Independents by Sodexo, as a Food Service Assistant working in our prestigious Strathallan School, Perthshire, you will be contributing towards the smooth running of a fast-paced food and beverage operation. You will be responsible for showcasing what the kitchen supplies, presenting it in the most eye-catching way possible, ensuring we are offering the best service possible. Your positive attitude and exceptional customer service abilities will make you an indispensable part of everyone's daily life.

What you do:

Prepare delicious meals for our school team and pupils.
Keep the kitchen and serving areas stocked, clean and hygienic always.
Support the loading and unloading of supply and delivery vehicles.
Observe food handling and hygiene regulations.
Follow health and safety guidelines.
Ensure that all machines and equipment are operated correctly.
Always uphold the reputation of the company.

Show impeccable punctuality and dependability.
Professionalism, empathy, and a positive outlook on life
Basic food handling skills are preferred, however not essential
There is no requirement for prior work experience, having a positive attitude ticks a box!
