Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Front of House Team in Edinburgh. This is a chance to be part of a small team providing a high quality, professional reception and catering service to clients and staff.
There will be a shift pattern of Monday to Friday 8.00am – 16.00pm and 09.00am – 17.00pm.
What will your role look like?
- Meeting and greeting all Hymans Robertson clients and staff in a professional manner
- Answering calls politely, quickly and efficiently using Microsoft Teams
- Ensuring contractors and visitors sign in and out and directed as appropriate
- Maintaining meeting room diaries
- Booking and recording all taxi bookings
- Collection and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail
- Record and handle all incoming and outgoing couriers
- Monitor stationery/catering stock and replenish as required
- Preparation of tea and coffee & order lunches when required
- Monitor meeting rooms i.e. setting up and clearing rooms for lunches, meetings and events
- Ensure all work areas are clean and tidy
- Ensure efficient catering service for additional events
- Monitor and control the provision of staff/visitor security passes
- Carry out Health & Safety inductions for new joiners
- Carry out workstation assessments
- Generally assisting the Senior Facilities Manager on any other ad-hoc duties
- Ensuring the Senior Facilities Manager is aware of all contractors who may be onsite
Qualifications and Experience:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
- Strong efficiency and punctuality
- Confident & polite telephone manner
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Previous experience in a customer facing role would be advantageous
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Exceptional organisation and time management skills
- Excellent team working skills, with the ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to work well alone and in a team
