Full Job Description
At WildLand, we have a 200-year vision for the Scottish Highlands: landscape-scale conservation and regeneration that creates space for nature to heal, grow and thrive. Aldourie Castle, nestled on the banks of the iconic Loch Ness, is a historic gem within WildLand’s collection of unique places to stay.
Known for its timeless elegance and breathtaking natural surroundings, Aldourie offers an unparalleled blend of heritage, luxury, and exclusivity, serving as a retreat for private guests and events. The estate spans acres of Highland wilderness, meticulously maintained gardens, and woodland, embodying our land preservation and restoration ethos.
The Role
We are looking for a welcoming Front of House Team Lead, on a 12 month fixed-term contract (maternity cover). This maternity cover position may be eligible for extension subject to business growth and operational needs.
We are searching for an individual who shares our passion and commitment to engage our guests in our 200 year vision.
You will lead the front-of-house team to consistently work together and deliver high-quality service to our guests. You will cover a shift rota covering mornings to afternoons & afternoons to evenings across 7 days. We are an exclusive-use venue and seek warm, friendly individuals willing to work across all aspects of the ‘house’.
Our aim is to deliver unforgettable experiences in beautiful places, transforming those who visit through the restorative power of nature.
Essential experience & skills
Primarily we are looking for individuals who share our purpose, passion and values.
To be successful in this role you will need an engaging personality, positivity and resilience and great people and organisational skills.
You must have leadership experience in the hospitality sector and you hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle that can be used for work-related travel where required.
That’s not all. In addition to a competitive salary, benefits, and a supportive work environment, being part of WildLand means contributing to the regeneration and preservation of one of Scotland’s most beautiful landscapes. Join us and be part of something truly special.
