Frontend Developer / Designer

A unique exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced frontend developer within the Pegasus team of ISD Business Systems at the University.

In this position, you will collaborate with fellow team members and stakeholders to facilitate the migration of our current in-house Java/JSP applications to a new user interface built on Vue.js, with a strong focus on accessibility. Additionally, you will be actively involved in the development of new applications, working closely with both front-end and back-end developers to achieve this goal.

You will be an experienced web developer with a proven track record of user-focused design experience and front-end coding skills. You must demonstrate extensive working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, CSS Pre processors and knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (VUE.js, React or AngularJS) would be required.

The post is offered on a full-time basis (35 hours per week). Hours are likely to be worked on a flexible basis, usually with a combination of home and campus working, in line with the University’s Agile Working Policy. All successful candidates must be willing to be located in the UK.
