Join us as a Fund Oversight Lead
- We’ll look to you to lead the oversight and governance of our regulated Fund Management Companies, ensuring the delivery of good customer outcomes and compliance with regulatory obligations
- You’ll be maintaining a risk-based planning framework for oversight and governance activity, coordinating stakeholders to effectively manage board level governance interaction and prioritising to reflect customer impact and risk to the business
- This is a high-profile role that offers considerable exposure as well as the opportunity to make a significant impact
What you'll do
As a Fund Oversight Lead, you’ll be maintaining and delivering a robust oversight and governance process, leading engagement with key stakeholders and ensuring robust record keeping and tracking of actions. You’ll also be supporting key individuals with regulated responsibility to Management Company boards on the board agenda, highlighting issues requiring attention.
You’ll also be:
- Inputting to supplier selection and contract renewal, working with stakeholders and presenting recommendations to the board
- Contributing to discretionary and mandatory change projects, representing the team and collaborating to make sure business change is delivered effectively
- Developing and coaching team members, setting a culture of professional development and high performance
- Contributing to the monitoring of upstream risk, identifying regulatory and tax changes including the impact on Fund Management Companies, ensuring necessary analysis and actions
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders across functions with effective management of stakeholder expectations around governance requirements and delivery timeframes
The skills you'll need
We’re looking for someone with a deep understanding of governance and regulation of undertakings for the Collective Investment in Transferable Securities investment funds in a UK or EU jurisdiction. You’ll also need the ability to effectively manage senior stakeholders and develop strong relationships at all levels.
Additionally, you’ll need:
- Experience of leadership on a direct or matrix level and monitoring workload, setting priorities, coaching and developing colleagues
- Knowledge and experience of operational and regulatory risk management and controls in regulated environments
- The ability to maintain an effective network across functional partners internally and externally, forming and leading virtual teams to collaborate to solve issues
- An excellent track record for meeting objectives in deadlines and budget
- Extensive knowledge of national business influences and economic issues
