Fund Reconciliation Specialist

Eden Scott's client is looking for a meticulous and experienced Fund Reconciliation Specialist to join our clients team in Edinburgh. If you thrive in a detail-oriented environment and have a strong background in fund reconciliation, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of fund accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Reconcile cash, positions, transactions, and other key financial data across multiple portfolios and asset classes.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between internal records and external sources, such as custodians and fund administrators.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including fund accounting and operations, to ensure all reconciliation issues are promptly addressed.
• Produce accurate reconciliation reports and provide key insights to senior management and stakeholders.
• Support audit processes by providing reconciled reports and addressing any queries from auditors or regulators.
• Assist in the improvement of reconciliation processes and tools, identifying areas for increased efficiency and automation.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies regarding fund management and reconciliation.

Essential Requirements:

• Strong experience in fund reconciliation or related financial operations.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
• Good working knowledge of reconciliation systems and Excel.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• 3+ years of experience in financial services or fund operations.
