Gatehouse Operative (Nightshift)

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Gatehouse/Security Officer for our client in East Kilbride. The role involves ensuring the security of the site during the night, monitoring and logging all incoming and outgoing vehicles, and accurately recording tanker weights in the system. This is a temp-to-perm position, offering a stable and long-term opportunity for the right candidate., Monitor and control access to the site, ensuring all vehicles and personnel are authorised.
- Accurately record tanker weights using the computerised system.
- Conduct regular security patrols of the site to deter and detect any unauthorised activity.
- Maintain detailed logs of all site activity during the shift.
- Report any security breaches or incidents to the management team promptly.
- Ensure the gatehouse is kept clean, organised, and operational at all times.
- Liaise with drivers and site personnel professionally and courteously.
- Adhere to all company security protocols and procedures.

Previous experience in a gatehouse or security role is essential.
- Computer literacy with the ability to accurately enter data and navigate basic software systems.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the shift.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts.
