Full Job Description

Position: General Foreman

Location:Stranraer
Start Date: January
Duration: 8 months

 About the Client
A highly regarded civil engineering contractor recognised for delivering iconic and technically challenging projects across the UK. They specialise in sectors such as water, marine, land remediation, and energy.

The company is seeking an experienced General Foreman to join their team for a Windfarm project in Stranraer for an 8-month period.

Key Requirements

  1. Certifications:
  • Valid CSCS and SMSTS certifications.
  • Experience:
    • Solid background in civil engineering earthworks and managing difficult ground conditions.
    • Experience working on windfarm projects in essential.
    • Proven ability to deliver toolbox talks effectively.
  • Site Management:
    • Strong experience managing site teams, including overseeing plant and squads.
  • Problem-Solving:
    • Proactive approach to resolving on-site challenges efficiently.
  • Health & Safety:
    • High standards for maintaining and enforcing safety compliance.

    What’s Offered

    • Day Rate: £280 - £320 (gross), dependent on experience.
    • Hours: Monday – Friday, 07:00–19:00.
