Full Job Description

  • Collaborate with lines of business, global marketing, and communications teams to develop and execute content and external communication strategies that advance organizational goals and pique target audience interest.

  • Create, curate, and manage high-quality written and visual content, including articles, blogs, website copy, presentations, speaking abstracts, videos, infographics, executive communications, and more.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key influencers and stakeholders, such as journalists, industry analysts, and subject matter experts

  • Produce engaging content for media outlets, including press releases, media alerts, feature stories, customer stories, byline articles, media kits

  • Manage the development of deep content including research, whitepapers, eBooks and its amplification with media and analysts

  • Manage interviews and speaking engagements for company spokespeople

  • Organize and execute press events, such as press conferences and media briefings

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency in messaging and communications

  • Monitor news outlets for media coverage of our organization and industry trends, develop recommendations for improvement and then adjust strategies as needed

  • Conduct research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging communication techniques to maintain a competitive edge

  • Craft clear and compelling messaging and thought leadership materials that communicate complex ideas in a relatable and accessible manner

  • Ensure content accuracy, relevance, and SEO optimization

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as design, product, segment, and subject matter experts to ensure content alignment and consistency in messaging, tone, and brand voice across all communication materials

  • Monitor content performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement

  • Assist in the coordination and execution of virtual and physical events, webinars, and workshops to promote brand awareness and engagement

    We are seeking a motivated and creative Communications and Content expert to join our dynamic Global Industrial Automation communications team. As a Global Communications Manager, you will engage our target audiences, enhance brand visibility, and drive business objectives by turning complex and nuanced topics into creative, impactful, and crisp stories, headlines, and technical content that is optimized for audience and media. This is an excellent opportunity for a communications professional with a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail., Exceptional writing, proofreading, and editing skills with a strong command of English grammar, style, and tone.   • Proficiency in optimizing content for various tactics and audiences

  • Intermediate to proficient understanding of SEO methodologies and content optimization techniques

  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS)

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Confidence in working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook), Teams and SharePoint

  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and/or video editing software is a plus

  • Creative thinking and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest communication trends and tools

  • Comfortable in a large international matrix-based organization marketing to a technical and industrial marketplace
