Governance Assistant
· Position: Governance Assistant
- Location: Cumnock, East Ayrshire
- Salary: EVH Grade 5: £30,250-33,617 (FTE)
- Contract: Permanent
- Hours: 28-35 per week, Monday to Friday
- Closing Date: 12 noon Thursday 17 April 2025

Based in Cumnock, Shire Housing Association manages 963 properties across East Ayrshire. Due to internal promotion, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Governance Assistant.
Working in our corporate services team, you will provide administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team and our Board. You will be involved in all governance processes including the organisation of our monthly Board meetings and similar events, collating Board papers and preparing meeting minutes.
You should have strong communication skills, a good work ethic, computer literacy and excellent organisational skills.
The post offers generous terms and conditions including, flexible working hours, contributory pension scheme, 25 days annual leave and 16 Public holidays. An element of hybrid working may be possible on completion of an induction period.
