Full Job Description

This position is aligned with C&C Operations and supports the UK C&C Executive in fulfilling its risk management responsibilities by providing risk and control advice and challenge.,

  • Regularly meet with relevant stakeholders to review, challenge and update risk registers and create Risk presentations for the C&C Risk Committee, as per the schedule agreed with the COO / CEO.
  • Facilitate the management and update of risk actions and other risk register updates from risk, control and action owners.
  • Maintain and update the Risk Management System (Decision Focus) as required following above.
  • Generate risk related management information (MI) and reports as required for risk register owners, Governance and Exec Committees and the C&C Risk Committee.
  • Audit :
  • Conduct regular meetings with auditors, operations management, and action owners to drive closure of actions within specified deadlines.
  • Manage and update the C&C Action log.
  • Create MI and reports.
  • Conduct Risk :
  • Hold monthly meetings with relevant stakeholders to discuss conduct risk metrics and agree / document actions.
  • Create a monthly Conduct Risk Dashboard report summarising the conduct risk metrics and actions required, for reporting at (??)
  • C&C Committees :
  • Attend committee meetings.
  • Prepare meeting minutes.
  • Liaise with action owners to update and report Committee meeting action logs.
  • Responsibilities of the Governance & Risk Associate include :
  • Ensuring audit action deadlines are met by the business, working closely with the business, the Risk Function, Internal Audit, Compliance Monitoring, and C&C Operations.
  • Keeping the Governance & Risk intranet site up to date and making necessary alterations.
  • Providing management information from various parts of the business for use in MI packs and other documents.
  • Undertaking project work as required.
