JAB Recruitment is sourcing on behalf of a leading energy sector client for a full-time, permanent Graduate Business Analyst role. The successful candidate will support the steel business unit, focusing on sales, operations, and supply chain management. This position offers an excellent opportunity for graduates to gain experience in a dynamic, global organisation involved in the energy transition and sustainability efforts. Main Purpose of the Role To support the steel business unit while completing graduate training. The main focus will be on supporting sales, operations, and supply chain management. Position within Organisation Reports to the Department General Manager of the Business Department. Scope of Job Support tender preparation and sales activities, including customers in various energy sectors. Conduct project financial analysis and cost modelling. Assist in contract management activities for long-term business partners. Analyse and map business processes, both general and, and SAP. 20% - Process Mapping & Work Instructions Support sales and contract process mapping. Review and update project maps and create documentation for the Quality Management System. 10% - Reporting Perform regular reporting activities as required. Other Duties Perform additional duties as directed by the supervisor/manager. Skills: Essential: Excellent communication and consultation skills. Proficient in using MS Office (Excel and Word), ideally with basic database skills. Strong analytical, literacy, and numeracy skills. Preferred:
Understanding of supply chain management principles. Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, results-oriented with a focus on quality. Relates well to people at all levels and demonstrates empathy. Flexible, adaptable, and creative. Able to travel internationally. Supportive of energy transition and sustainability management. Team player, contributing to a positive environment. Experience Preferred: Experience working in an office environment. Multicultural business environment experience is a plus. Familiarity with systems like SAP or Salesforce. Part 2: Duties and Key Responsibilities 20% - Training Complete all assigned graduate training within an 18-month timeframe. 30% - Sales & Operations / Supply Chain Management (SCM) Support tender preparation, submission, contracting, and post-award execution, including operations, logistics, and inventory management. 20% - Data Analytics & Digital Systems Perform data analysis and manage transactions within digital systems such as Salesforce
